Today the young adult of our house leaves for college. Child doesn't fit here so young adult it is.
We take her today to move into her dorm.
We have disucussed this day for a while now. She has told me about the changes coming in our FLR. I have to say I have never been so excited in my life and look very forward to what the future brings.
Anyone who has went thru this please give me some tips of what to expect.
We are now 2 weeks into our first Empty Nest, as baby boy has gone off to college, his older sister finally found a job and an apartment way across the country, and his older brother got a promotion at work that enables him to keep his apartment. It is awesome, I tell you. We are saving a bunch of money on food, etc. and we can take the parental control off the TV, because nobody is there to purchase unauthorized movies. Learning to cook for 2 again is a challenge though.
